Guest Conductor for "Tchaikovsky Gold"

The Bay Philharmonic is pleased to announce Maestra Lara Webber as guest conductor for the upcoming "Tchaikovsky Gold" show on Sunday, June 23rd, 3PM at Chabot College in Hayward. She will be conducting Tchaikovsky’s ultra dramatic Symphony no.4 as well as joining Van Cliburn International Piano Competition Gold Medal winner Jon Nakamatsu for Tchaikovsky’s famous Concerto no. 1.

“Lara is a very dynamic and passionate conductor”, says General Director of the Bay Philharmonic, Jung-Ho Pak. “She is not just the leading woman symphony conductor in the Bay Area including orchestras in Livermore and Palo Alto, she is also incredibly warm and friendly. Our audiences will love her.”
