The Bay Philharmonic is proud to partner with Chabot College to present a new era of first class entertainment for the Bay Area.

Located in Hayward, this beautiful and comfortable concert hall is ideal for the dramatic and theatrical programs the Bay Phil has become famous for. Best of all, the acoustics are excellent with every seat having unobstructed sightlines to the stage.

Parking is plentiful, convenient and safe on this scenic campus. On Sundays, parking is free!

The Chabot Performing Arts Center

The Bay Philharmonic is very proud to premiere it’s 2023-24 Season at the Chabot Performing Arts Center (CPAC) in Hayward, CA. With good acoustics, lighting and video, this beautiful venue is one of the best places to experience the performing arts in the East Bay. Located only seconds from the Hayward-San Mateo bridge entrance, it is also conveniently and easily accessible from any place in the Bay Area.

One of the best things about the parking is that it’s plentiful and it’s FREE on Sundays for our shows! Parking Lots G and H, located at the corner of Hesperian Blvd and Depot Road, are the most directly accessible to the Performing Arts Center. There is handicapped parking for cars with valid placards. Refer to the maps below.

The CPAC provides handicap and wheelchair seating and hearing devices for the hearing-impaired.

Directions

  • From the South Bay:

    • Take I-880 N

    • Exit onto 92 W

    • Exit Hesperian Blvd. in Hayward (signs for Hesperian Boulevard N/Chabot College)

    • Turn left onto Depot Rd.

    • Turn right into Chabot College Parking Lot.

  • From the North Bay:

    • Take I880 S

    • Exit CA-92 W (San Mateo/Half Moon Bay)

    • Exit Hesperian Blvd. in Hayward (signs for Hesperian Boulevard N/Chabot College)

    • Turn left onto Depot Rd.

    • Turn right into Chabot College Parking Lot.

  • From the Peninsula:

    • Tank CA-92 E

    • Exit Hesperian Blvd.

    • Use the right lane to take the Hesperian Boulevard exit toward Oakland/I-880/San Jose

    • Keep right to continue and follow signs for Hesperian Blvd/San Lorenzo

    • Turn left onto Hesperian Blvd.

    • Turn left onto Depot Rd.

    • Turn right into Chabot College Parking Lot.
