The word “Philharmonic” means the "love of harmony. We are a source of wonderful sounds and diverse co-existence for the region. Bay Philharmonic exists for you - to bring communities together and improve quality of life through a shared transportive performing arts experience.

Our purpose is to deliver beauty and joy in an affordable and accessible way. Then, for joy to inspire hope, and for hope to create social change.

Bay Phil presents performance-packed shows honoring the area’s diverse cultures. We deliver events in an engaging and relatable way, breaking down the walls that separate us and touching people’s hearts.

We value diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. We want to give more Bay Area residents—of every ethnic or economic status—the chance to experience and know they belong as guests at performing arts events.
