Fremont, CA – Kick off the holidays on Sunday, December 14, at 3 pm as Bay Philharmonic presents The Bay Area’s Best: Sounds of the Season. This beloved annual tradition delivers live entertainment and transforms the Chabot College Performing Arts Center into a musical wonderland—bursting with family-friendly magic, spirited sing-alongs, and uplifting performances everyone will enjoy!
The spectacularly-packed program marks the debut of 25/26 Season Guest Conductor Alexander Kahn, and delivers many merry and bright moments of holiday cheer:
Heart-warming themes -The Polar Express & The Snowman (Walking in the Air)
A sparkling Broadway holiday medley – filled with pizzazz (Haul out the holly+)
Fiery, festive Merry-Achi music like you’ve never heard it before, featuring Mariachi Nueva Sangre and Bay Phil’s orchestra performing together
Several spirited Hanukkah selections honoring the Festival of Lights
Classic carols and soul-stirring spirituals from the CO_LLAB Choir & Bay Phil
A full-ensemble performance of Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus from the Bay Phil Orchestra, CO_LLAB Choir, and Bay Phil Youth Orchestra
A fun, joyful sing-along for all
