Celebrating an incredible legacy: Share your tribute to Jung-Ho

After eight remarkable seasons, we’re saying goodbye to our beloved Artistic Director and Conductor, Jung-Ho Pak.

From the very first advice he shared with our artistic team to the downbeat of the first show he conducted and throughout every season, Jung-Ho brought not only exceptional musical artistry to Bay Phil, but also heart, vision, and inclusion with a magnetic, joyful energy that has shaped who we are as an organization.

We’ve seen unforgettable performances, bold and creative new programming, deeper community ties, and discovered what fun sounds like in eight seasons. We’ve been part of the transformation of Bay Phil to a more contemporary orchestra delivering music for all people.

His leadership is leaving a lasting imprint on our professional orchestra, our BPYO musicians, our audiences, our team, our Board, and our local communities.
