Bay Philharmonic Executive Director, Dr. Francis Rojas, and Board Trustee, Personnel Manager, and Violinist Marcella Schantz appeared on KRON 4’s Live! in the Bay to share the story of the Bay Philharmonic and talk about our upcoming gala fundraiser,CRESCENDO!

This year marks a marvelous chapter in our history as we celebrate 60 years of sharing inspirational symphonic music and the Bay Philharmonic Youth Orchestra celebrating10 years of educational excellence. CRESCENDO! will bring our community together to celebrate this dynamic legacy, recognize our musicians, students, artistic leadership, donors, and supporters who have helped shape our organization, and look ahead to an exciting future for music in the East Bay.

CRESCENDO!will take place Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Garré Vineyard and Winery, 7986 Tesla Road in Livermore, California. This unforgettable evening will feature Master of Ceremonies Sterling James, live entertainment from the Standard Deviation Jazz Trio, and a live auction by auctioneer Damon Casatico of Charity Benefit Auctions.

Tickets start at $175. This elegant evening will include delicious food, live entertainment, celebration, and community, all while supporting the future of the Bay Philharmonic and Bay Philharmonic Youth Orchestra.

Looking for a more exclusive evening? Join us for our VIP Experience! VIP guests are invited to arrive one hour before general doors open for an intimate reception featuring hors d’oeuvres and live music performed by a Bay Philharmonic Youth Orchestra musician alongside Bay Philharmonic Concertmaster Philip Santos.
